The digital DC FanDome happened earlier this week. Among the reveal of Gotham Knights, Rocksteady’s next project has also come to light – Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. The cinematic trailer, which spans a modest four minutes, shows off the dynamic between Harley Quinn, Deadshot, King Shark, and Captain Boomerang.
The trailer doesn’t show gameplay, but if it’s going to be anything like Rocksteady’s previous superhero games, it’ll have you traversing an area to either go in guns blazing or a more stealthy approach. Much like Gotham Knights, though, you don’t have to brave the baddies alone as up to four-player co-op is an option.
Also, unlike Knights, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is part of the Arkham universe. This was something refuted when it comes to Knights, which is set to a brand-new universe.
There is no month set for its release, but we do have a release year – 2022. It’ll be launching to PS5, Xbox One, and PC.
