While there’s no official word yet on a release window for the PS5, but a new report from VGC claims that Sony is aiming at a mid-November release for the new console. This would be close to the same period for the Xbox Series X release, as Microsoft has already committed to a November release.
The claims don’t end there, though. VGC’s sources claim that in the UK, Sony is specifically aiming for November 13. This speculation comes off the back of “significant marketing spending” booked for that day.
Although these claims should always be taken with a pinch of salt, the detail in VGC’s claim makes us think they might be right. Other sources have suggested the November release window before, as it lines up with the release of some big titles like Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. We’ll have to wait and see, but keep your eyes on November.
