The final major update to Monster Hunter World: Iceborne is coming later this year and while it’s a bitter-sweet ending to the entry, it seems Capcom is dedicated to making it memorable. In a recent developer diary, a few of the people behind the game gave us a glimpse at the final major update they plan to launch later this year.
One of the major inclusions will include another creature to brawl with – Fatalis. As a fan-favorite, the dragon-like creature will add new resources to carve and turn into weapons and armor. Before you can encounter Fatalis, though, you must first complete Iceborne’s main quest.
Even though this is the last major update, there will be events going on through the rest of the year including quests centered around Velkhana, Autumn Harvest, and Fun Fright Fests will also be a part of the last hurrah on October 16 to November 5. Master Rank armor will also be introduced, but you’ll need to meet certain criteria first.
The last major update for Monster Hunter World: Iceborne will take effect on October 1, 2020.
