As Epic Games continues to put pressure on Apple for pulling the game from the App Store, Fortnite continues to move forward into its next season. Friday saw a simple and short teaser of what’s to come with Fortnite Chapter 2’s Season 4.
Turns out, just like when Avengers: Endgame came to theaters, Fortnite has teamed up with Marvel to bring fans a brand-new cross-over. As to what exactly this entails is unknown, having only shown an extremely brief teaser showcasing Marvel’s Thor replacing Fortnite’s title.
This teaser isn’t super clear as to if this new season will be Thor themed, its text indicates he’ll at least have a lot to do with it. We’re likely going to see more on August 27.

The new season comes amid a heated argument-turned-legal-battle between Fortnite developer – Epic Games – and phone manufacturer – Apple – as the latter pulled the game from the Apple App Store earlier this month. The reason? Epic implemented, without permission, an in-app payment processing system that circumvented Apple’s required 30 percent cut.
Once Apple caught wind of this blatant violation, they pulled the game from its own service, leading to Epic bashing them on social media and eventually filing a lawsuit against them.
