The long-since deceased franchise that is Crysis is coming back in the ways of Crysis Remastered. This, you already probably know, but now its release date is public and it’s sooner than you may think. Not wanting to miss any opportunity, Crytek dropped a comparison video.
The description detailed how the game is going to be quite a bit beefier with graphics that go up to 8K. New lighting, ray tracing, “state-of-the-art” depth of fields, and more are also levied to promote the remaster of a classic.
This seemed to have satiated some of the sour fans, following a leaked video causing a negative reaction within the community. Needless to say, this led to a delay in most of its remastered versions, only launching the Switch version on July 23.
The first entry launched all the way back in 2007 and a remaster was revealed earlier this year, revamping interest in the already notable series. Crysis Remastered is coming to PC, PS4, and Xbox One on September 18, 2020. You can still purchase the game on the Nintendo eShop.
