Fans of the Bayonetta franchise might finally get the well-deserved update on Bayonetta 3 as its creator, Hideki Kamiya, points to updating fans later “during the year.” While the update’s content is a mystery, PlatinumGames is way overdue in updating fans about everyone’s favorite witch’s future adventure.
It’s fair to say that fans are waiting with bated breath for any sort of news of its release as the game’s yet to get another try after its second entry all the way back in 2014.
In his interview with Arcade Archives, he made a passing comment about the game and noted that he couldn’t say much.
“Well, I suppose… we’ve been working on new stuff like Bayonetta 3, not that I can say too much… but I hope we can give an update during the year.”
The news that we could be hearing news about the witch’s glorious return after a six-year (and counting) dry-spell. But, only time will tell and as the world’s still reeling from “certain events,” we also won’t expect the game will even come out this year, but perhaps fans will get a glimpse of footage or a new teaser.
